QROCR (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to providing a secure and privacy-focused QR code scanning experience. This Privacy Policy explains how QROCR handles data, what rights you have as a user, and how third-party platforms may interact with the app. This document also includes our End User License Agreement (EULA).
QROCR is designed so that all QR code scanning, recognition, decoding, and processing happen entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, including images, scan history, file content, device identifiers, or any QR code data.
Information We Collect
QROCR is intentionally built to avoid collecting personal data.
We do not collect personal information, device information, browsing data, location, images, QR code contents, contacts, or any identifiers.
All QR code decoding processes occur locally on your device.
We do not maintain logs or any record of scans.
Platform providers (such as Apple or Google) may automatically collect diagnostic or crash information. Such data is controlled solely by the platform provider and not accessible to QROCR.
Third-Party Platforms
QROCR does not send any user data to external servers. However, app-store platforms or optional third-party SDKs may operate in the background through your device’s operating system.
Possible third-party services include:
Google Play Services / Apple App Store services
Firebase Crashlytics or Analytics (if present, receives only anonymized device diagnostics)
Attribution platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust), which may record install events only at the store level
QROCR does not provide these services with any personal data. Any information they collect is governed by their own privacy policies, not by QROCR.
Legal Basis for Processing
Since QROCR does not collect personal data, our legal bases apply only in principle:
Performance of a Contract: To provide local QR code scanning functionality.
Legitimate Interests: Ensuring app integrity, preventing misuse, and enabling updates (all without collecting personal data).
Legal Obligations: If required by law in the future, though currently no data is collected.

QROCR does not retain any personal data.
No logs are saved.
No scan results are stored.
No user information is kept on our servers.
Any data temporarily processed on your device remains only in system memory and disappears when the app closes or your device clears temporary files.
Uninstalling the app removes all local app data.

Uninstalling the app clears all locally generated information.
